Making Dreams Come True

Sianna's favorite princess is Cinderella. So you can imagine how excited she was when she saw her favorite princess at her birthday party sharing her special day. Cinderella did face painting, played games, and danced with the children. She even helped serve tea! What a cool princess!

Danielle's Pink Poodle Paw-Tea

Danielle chose to celebrate her 5th birthday with our impeccably Posh Pink Poodle Paw-Tea (which is by far, one of our most popular parties). Here she is holding up her "tea" shirt that she decorated for her new friend.

Manners & Let's Pretend Try-It Tea Party

For this Girl Scout bash, we did both a Manners Try-It and Let's Pretend Try-It. The girls created masks, practiced tongue twisters, sang Hannah Montana, HSM, AND Camp Rock songs, and managed to fit in a an tea party with an etiquette lesson. Whew!

SpecialTea Parties Creates Magic...Really!

This Girl Scout Par-Tea proved to be a challenge. The party consisted of Daisy, Brownie, and Junior girls who all wanted to earn their petals/badges/patches. I'm happy to report that all the girls completed their badge requirements in only one short evening. How? Why, SpecialTea Magic, of course!

Morgan's Posh Pink Poodle Paw-Tea

Morgan turned 2-years-old last month and SpecialTea Parties was there to make her birthday wishes come true. Her mom, Nicole went all out!!

Guests arrived on a stylish pink carpet

Want to Create Your Own Spa Party at Home?

1. Spa Parties work best with small intimate groups. Save the huge blowout party for another celebration and have your teen pick her 3-5 best girlfriends for an afternoon or evening of pampering.

2. Use your favorite photo editing software to create a super fun invitation. Have your daughter wrap her hair up in a towel, put on a fun facial mask with two slices of cucumbers on her eyes and snap a shot of her face and then put all the party info onto the photo as your postcard invitation. She can mail them or hand them out.

3. Serve the snacks in spa-like fashion. Have a small table near where you'll be doing your pampering with a glass pitcher of water with lemon slices or your daughter's favorite beverage of choice. Have chocolate dipped strawberries, tea sandwiches and other finger foods for them to munch on throughout the afternoon or evening.

4. Encourage the girls to wear light clothing (shorts and t-shirt) and throw a robe on to help with the atmosphere.

5. Deck lounge chairs work great as spa facial chairs!

6. You can make your own spa products or use purchase products. You can use some great home spa recipes straight from items you probably already have in your kitchen.

7. Have peaceful music playing in the background during the spa time. You can purchase the individual songs for your ipod or to download to your computer.

Here's a Banana-Honey Facial Mask Recipe:
Mash a banana with 1 tsp. of honey
Apply the facial mask to cleansed face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
